Jason Fritz is an interdisciplinary artist whose work shuttles between performance, installation, and disaster. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, now living and working in San Francisco, California, Fritz’s work is heavily in conversation with the histories of the queer future and representation through documentation. He holds a degree in Film and Women’s Studies from San Francisco State University.  His work has been exhibited in galleries, performance spaces and universities throughout the United States and Europe, and featured in KQED Arts, The Bilerico Project, Bullet Magazine, and a feature essay in Royal Enterprise.  His film Portrait of Bonnie has been screened at film festivals and toured extensively at universities in 2010.  Fritz has participated in performance collaborations in New York, San Francisco, Berlin and Detroit.
